Ingredients we used:
- Manjal Kizhlangu, Kasthuri Manjal (Turmeric/Curcuma longa), Poolan Kizhlangu (White turmeric), Rose petals, Aavaram Poo (Senna auriculata), Shenbagha Mottu (Champak/Magnolia champaca), Karbogha Arisi (Psoralea corylifolia), Korai Kizhlangu (Cyperus rotundus/Muthakach), Vetti Ver (Khus), Malai Nannari (Hemidesmus indicus), Poosanthu Pattai, Thirumanjana Pattai, Marikozhlunthu (Artemisia pallens), Maruvu (Marjoram), Green leaf, Vasambu (Acorus calamus/flagroot/sweet cane), Black stone flower (Kalpaasi), Athimathuram and Lavangapathiri Leaf (Brinji leaf).
Precautions:
- Please do a patch test on a small area of skin to check for allergies.
- For external use only on the body and face.
- Keep away from water. Use a dry spoon to scoop the powder.
Directions:
- Mix 2 tablespoon of powder with water and apply over the body and face. Scrub gently.
- Rinse off with water.

Yes you can use Nalangu maavu for your daughter. But do take a patch test before using it completely in large portions. To check how your child’s body reacts to the Nalangu maavu once you have confirmed then you can use the product.

The Nalangu maavu needs to be diluted in water till you get thick and smooth consistency and it has to be applied on the body except the sensitive parts like eye, ear, nose, mouth etc. After it is dried. You can have a bath and can scrub off the powder from your child’s body.

Nalangu maavu for boys will not have wild turmeric ingredient in it. Whereas for girls wild turmeric is added.
